Scope of Drawing and Design Support
Drawing reviews, revisions and design work are agreed around the required standards. Applicable requirements depend on the equipment, destination and contract conditions, so a standard's name alone does not determine the scope or certification outcome. Design support and certification assessment or issuance are discussed as separate roles.
International Site and Project Management Experience
The published timeline includes equipment retrofits in Poland in 2020, chemical and display equipment retrofits in China, and on-site equipment support in Vietnam in 2021. Experience also includes site coordination and drawing revisions for a Canadian roll-to-roll equipment project from December 2024 to April 2026.
As the person responsible for equipment electrical work on a Canadian project, I worked with approximately 20 local union electrical professionals, giving work instructions and coordinating tasks directly in English. I can discuss equipment operation and site work in English, using explanations and drawings to clarify detailed technical terms and requirements.
Support is available throughout South Korea and at overseas sites. The scope, schedule, travel and accommodation costs of overseas assignments are agreed in advance.
Information to Share for a Consultation
Along with drawings and an equipment description, include the destination, required standards and any request documents from the assessment body or customer. Mark undecided items as such. Items requiring clarification and the design scope are reviewed before agreeing the quotation and schedule.

What information is needed for an electrical design quotation?
Please share the equipment purpose and operating description, available drawings, PLC or PC control method, major components, complete configuration, design requirements, deadline, destination country and required standards. If information is incomplete, identify what is available and what is undecided. Scope and schedule are agreed after review.
How are design fees and project duration determined?
They depend on circuit complexity, drawing count, the completeness of existing information, retrofit scope, required standards, site checks and build management needs. A quotation and schedule are agreed after reviewing the equipment and drawings, rather than applying a single fixed price or lead time.
